Interesting Site to Ponder:
Mainwashed
What our goal here with Mainwashed is to bring commentary to news articles we see, and try to filter out what is useful in what we read. You may, or may not agree with us, that is up to you. The problem is though that if you take what the media gives you at face value, then you are being brainwashed. Check it out!

Pondering the Spirit:
From the Wilderness to the Promised Land
by Shonda M. Ponder
Posted on 03.15.13
Sometimes you have to walk through the wilderness in order to get to the Promised Land. I believe that everything in life, good and bad, happens for a reason. When I find myself in a situation that makes me feel unhappy, I just think to myself, "It's all for a reason." The longer I live, and the more I have to look back on, the more I believe this.

...You have to appreciate the effort Jeff puts forth in order to better our economy as well as protect our Constitutional Rights. Of course, the Democrats will just try to find someone to blame rather than fix the problem of the broken economy. A Keystone Pipeline is just another problem in the way of their whining...

This morning, I travelled down the Information Super Highway looking for news stops along the way, when I bumped into Allen West. I was reading a post from Allan West, who said that his favorite burger joint was entertaining the notion of raising their prices due to Obamacare;

Toaster Pastries and Drones

After nearly four years, this week the Senate is finally introducing a budget. Not sure what good the budget is going to do, when I have a problem following my own. It would be easier if I made the money required to pay the bills I have. If the economy were better, I could make the money I need to pay them off.

Obamacare, Knives and Anger Management
by Shonda M. Ponder
Posted on 03.11.13
...Cruz says Obamacare is already hurting small business, reducing hours Americans are able to work, forcing employers to drop coverage, and leading to substantial increases in healthcare premiums—especially for young people. I believe it, because I feel it, although I'm not all that young anymore.

So much news, so little time...
By Shonda M. Ponder
Posted on 03.08.13
This last week, I have felt so overwhelmed with the amount of news that is out there that is worth reading. No one person could possibly post it all, let alone read it all in one sitting. Furthermore, by the time you finished reading it all, or writing it, or posting it, it would be old news with much more news that is out there. Read the rest...

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 22
Josiah was eight-years old when he became king of Judah. His mother was Jedidah. He took after David in the way he followed God. When he was 18, he sent Shaphan the Scribe to the temple, to see Hilkah the High Priest, to find out how much money was coming to the temple from the people. He told Hilkah to give the money to those who could fix the temple and repair it.

Rand Paul: A True Statesman and Hero
by Shonda Ponder
Posted on 03.09.13
Rand Paul has single-handedly forced the whole nation to stop and take notice of what our government is coming to. He has attempted to single-handedly stop a great atrocity to our bill of rights by forcing the administration to realize that the people that elected them would not stand for any violation on their life, liberty or pursuit of happiness.

Rand Paul For President?
By Shonda M. Ponder
Posted on 03.08.13
I hope that Rand will consider Ted Cruz as his running mate. These two are two peas in a pod. Ted is new to the senate, but he has the same spirit. Both of them, together, remind me of Joshua and Caleb in the Bible. Both of them are willing to fight. Both will accept nothing less than victory when it comes to protecting our rights under the Constitution.
